Just like our seat shampoo service, drying time depends on the weather. Because gravity pulls moisture down into the floor, carpets can take slightly longer than seats to dry—typically 3 to 5 hours on a warm day. We extract as much water as possible, but we recommend keeping windows cracked or parking in a garage with a fan running to speed up the process.
We recommend leaving rubber or all-weather mats out of the car until the carpet underneath is 100% dry. Putting a rubber mat over damp carpet traps the moisture and can cause a musty, mildew smell to develop.
We use industrial-grade stain removers that can tackle coffee, grease, soda, and ink. However, the success rate depends on how long the stain has been there and what caused it. Substances like bleach, harsh acids, or certain dyes can permanently alter the carpet color. We will always inspect the stains first and let you know what results to expect.
For safety reasons, we do not remove seats. Disconnecting seats can trigger airbag warning lights or compromise safety sensors. However, we use specialized slender tools and compressed air to blow debris out from under the seats and reach as far as possible without unbolting them.
