Mobile RV Detailing Services Atlanta, GA

Atlanta’s Trusted Mobile RV Cleaning and Detailing Services

Most RVs never see a detail because most detailers are not set up for them. A 38-foot motorhome is roughly six car-lengths of surface area, sitting twelve feet in the air, usually parked in a storage lot with no water hookup — and the roof needs completely different chemistry than the sides.

Prestige Mobile Cleaning details RVs, fifth wheels and travel trailers where they are stored. We bring our own water, power and ladder access.

Black streaks: what they are and why they come back

The dark vertical runs down your sidewalls are not dirt. They are roof residue — as your rubber roof breaks down under UV it sheds, and every rain washes that oxidized material down over the fiberglass, where it bonds.

Which means scrubbing the sidewalls treats the symptom. If the roof is not cleaned and treated, the streaks return with the next storm. We do both, in that order — roof first, then sides — because doing it the other way just re-dirties clean walls.

The roof is not the same material as the sides

Most RV roofs are EPDM or TPO rubber membrane. Petroleum-based cleaners, including many general-purpose degreasers, will soften and destroy them. Pressure washing will lift the seams. Both mistakes are expensive and both are common.

Roof work means a compatible cleaner, soft brushes, careful attention to the seals around vents, skylights and the AC shroud, and a UV treatment afterward to slow the breakdown that causes the streaking in the first place. Not every roof should be walked on either — we check what yours is rated for before anyone gets up there.

Fiberglass oxidation and the decal problem

RV sidewalls are gelcoat over fiberglass, and they chalk in the sun the same way a boat hull does. Correcting it means compounding — but RVs come covered in large printed graphics, and decals are far thinner and softer than the gelcoat around them. Run a compound over a decal the way you would over open fiberglass and you will burn straight through the graphic.

We work around them, hand-finish the edges, and if the decals are already cracking or lifting from age, we tell you before we start rather than after.

Awnings, seals and slide-outs

Awning fabric grows mildew in Georgia humidity, especially when it is rolled up wet after a trip. It cleans, but it has to be dried fully before it is retracted or it starts over. Slide-out and door seals need conditioning — dried, cracked seals are how water gets into a wall, and wall rot is the most expensive thing that happens to an RV.

How long it takes, and when to book

Plan on most of a day. A full exterior with roof, black streak removal, oxidation correction and interior on a mid-size coach is genuinely a 6 to 8 hour job, and anyone quoting two hours is not doing the roof. The two useful windows are before a trip and before storage — months of sitting is when streaking and seal failure quietly get worse.

Pricing

RV pricing is driven by length, roof condition and how much oxidation is on the sidewalls. A 24’ travel trailer kept under cover and a 40’ diesel pusher that has been outdoors for four years are not the same job. Call or text 678-274-9817 with the length and where it is stored and we will quote it properly.

Common Questions

We’ve Got the Answers Ready

How often should I have my RV exterior detailed?

At Prestige Mobile Cleaning, we generally recommend having your RV’s exterior detailed every 3 to 6 months, especially if it spends time outdoors or sees frequent travel. This schedule helps defend against sun damage, bug splatter, and road grime that can harm your RV’s finish over time. If it’s stored indoors or used seasonally, detailing 1–2 times a year may be sufficient.

Can you clean my RV while it’s parked at home or in storage?

Absolutely. We’re fully mobile and can detail your RV wherever it’s parked in the Atlanta area, whether that’s your driveway, at a storage lot, or even at a campground, provided there’s access. Just let us know when you book, and we’ll take it from there.

What parts of my RV will you clean? Do you handle the roof, awnings, and slide-outs?

Yes, we cover it all. Our full exterior service includes roof cleaning, awnings, slide-out covers, wheels, and exterior compartments. We use RV-safe products and gentle, effective techniques to clean every surface.

How long does the mobile RV detailing process take?

It depends on the size of the RV and the services you choose. For a basic exterior detail, you can expect it to take around 4 to 6 hours. If you're adding interior cleaning, ceramic coating, or paint correction, please allow a bit more time. We'll always give you a clear time estimate before starting.
